ORALTORIO Plays at the PIECE OF MINE FESTIVAL

About the festival

The piece of mine theatre festival is a profound, imaginative and fresh production. Between September 13-15, 2013, you’ll witness 8 black playwrights present current work in development. This festival aims to stage upcoming plays with  stories that boldly relay contemporary realities, while exposing overlooked history and insightful futures. With that said, many of the works will be weaved with elements of rhythm and movement such as hip-hopspoken worddance and live music. To end each evening, there will be an audience talkback dedicated to provide the artists with vital comments and questions to further develop their work.  All of the action will take place at Palmerston Theatre (560 Palmerston Ave., 2 blocks west of Bathurst & Bloor, TOronto).
