Written and directed by the Governor Award-nominated playwright Joseph Jomo Pierre (Shakespeare’s Nigga, Born Ready), iLove ver. Black is a new web series exploring the trials and tensions of relationships, communication and Black love. Set in Toronto, the series’ five episodes feature the intense, poetic dialogue of Pierre, along with a soundtrack born of Toronto’s talented musicians and vocalists.
