7 Women. 7 Voices. Coming together for a virtual reading of classic monologues intertwined with new poetry inspired by the play “for colored girls who have considered suicide/when the rainbow is enuf “. On the occasion of the 72nd birthday of renowned playwright/poet Ntozake Shange (1948-2018), For Colored Girls: A RemiX reimagines and reflects on her influential choreopoem – where word, sound, movement and drama meet – and its indelible impact on theatre.

For Colored Girls: A RemiX features an outstanding cast of award-winning actors and spoken word poets: Ordena Thompson, Faduma Mohamed, Chelsea Russell, Britta B., Akosua Amo-Adem, Paulina O’Kieffe, and is directed by Motion.
